The “Quiet” Mind

The mind is often overloaded with so many thoughts. It is important to allow the mind adequate peace. Meditation is a form of thoughtless awareness.  It allows the mind to be silent and calm causing profound peacefulness. To elevate to a higher level of consciousness and absolute full potential. The use of meditation is quite resourceful for growth. It is also a tranquil way of reducing stress. Here are some beginner tips that you can use.

1. Sit Comfortably- A sitting position with  legs crossed that is comfortable for you. Let your mind focus on full awareness.
2. Breathe- Let the compile of daily stress go and breathe.
3. Music- Listening to music as a beginner to the practice helps to focus your thoughts.
4. Time- Begin with short time intervals and increase your time overtime.
5. Goal- To achieve enlightenment allow these powerful techniques to quiet the mind.
6. Progress- If you are a beginner do not get discouraged. Your  progression to higher levels will increase gradually.

 It is absolutely ok to give yourself permission to progress in life. The techniques of meditation are useful in growing into self awareness. The practice adds to the quality of life and subsequently can reduce stress. Life can often be difficult at times but working on yourself is primary. The mind may be silent but it is the most powerful sound. Once you open your eyes to enlightenment capture the view.
